Ellyn Mendenhall

Ellyn Mendenhall is a writer based in Brooklyn, NY, originally from the Hoosier heartland.

Her satire pieces have appeared in Points in Case, The Belladonna Comedy, and Little Old Comedy. Her short play Dear God, It’s Me, A Zillennial was a finalist for the 2025 Schreiber Shorts Festival, and her sketches have been performed at the Magnet Theater (House Team: Breakfast Martini) and the Brooklyn Comedy Collective. She is also a member of the indie improv group, Holy Shiz, and the author of the pop culture newsletter, Are We On The Same Page?.
